Reggie Rockstone Should Relax

Ever since the issues of who originated hip life music started hitting the headlines in Ghana, little did we know that it was likely to escalate to this height.

It started with just some few names being mentioned chiefly among them Reggie Rockstone and the highest contenders. Now it`s clear the whole issue has gotten out of hands and if care is not taken, we will read the worst of stories in our industry.

When we thought it was all said and done by the people involved, the latest twist has emanated as information has come out that some unscrupulous people are trying to edit Reggie`s profile on Wikepedia to remove the fact that he is the originator of hiplife. As much as Reggie feels he does not care that much about the people`s actions, his fury is actually not being hurtful as the strong words he is using in all these issues are not being healthy.

For instance, we at Flex newspaper find it absurd for Reggie to come out with information that he made Zapp Mallet who he is today because he thought him how to play beats. Really? We think this is an unfair statement to the beat maker because no matter what, his contribution also made this hiplife genre a reality. We are of the view that it is high time Reggie and the others come together to rather educate than the confusion happening.
