We Can’t Please Everyone – Ofori Amponsah’s Manager Speak
Contrary to speculations that the bashing from the general public will affect the comeback of highlife Pastor, Ofori Amponsah, together with his team, the manager of the man of God, Mr. Frank Agyekum has said neither the management nor Ofori himself can please everyone. He revealed that, no comment can affect the brand although everyone’s thought is meaningful to them.
“Even God was criticized, how much more Ofori? We are in a world where democracy plays a major role, which helps people bring out their problems. It’s fair for people to take on the issue because they don’t understand us and when it happens that way, you have to make them understand you. It’s all good, we listen to what they say and work on it, so we can please others but not everyone,” he said.
Although Ofori’s decision to return to highlife has become the meat on the butcher’s table where it’s been cut by anyone anyhow, Frank believes Ofori is doing God’s work through a different channel and that won’t make God judge him wrongly. He said Ofori knows what he is doing because God gave him the talent and even if he doesn’t mention God’s name in the songs, he Frank is assured, it will take nothing from his ministry.
Ofori’s Alewa featuring Sarkodie has received massive airplay on local stations although it has not been officially released onto the market as management are still preparing on the release of the album. According to Frank, they are working on more collaborations with Bisa K Dei and Flava of Nigeria and in two weeks will release another song which will be featuring Samini. He added that their arms are widely open to all who would want to work with them as they are ready to work with all.
Mr. All For Real is under the Blaq Standard management with Frank Agyekum as his manager and one Samuel Oppong of S Class Vito, supporting as a producer. The manager, spoke exclusively to Flex newspaper.
