I Went To China To Shoot A Movie: Collins Ocran

Working persistently in the Entertainment industry, writing songs and script, technically producing countless number of movies such as: Abusua Bonsam, Sika Forest and others in the movie market for quite some years now, Collins Ocran who is also known as Cobby Signal is ready to release his first movie titled ‘Kofi Baboni’ under Global Stone Movie Production, in October ending.

In the movie, there lived a boy called Kofi who stayed with his father after a split between his parents. He worked with his father who was a carpenter. Kofi was a bad boy who doesn’t listen to advice from anyone not even his Dad.

He entered into a relationship with the daughter of Apostle John Prah called Maame Yaa Konadu and got her pregnant. Apostle John Prah got angry because that was the only daughter she had.Kofi and Maame Yaa Konadu migrated to the city individually to seek for greener pastures after leaving their twins at the village. Kofi worked as a bicycle repairer. Maame Yaa Konadu came to the city and got married to Mr. Amankwah. She wasn’t able to give birth in her marriage so they went to the hospital to find out the cause. The doctor after carrying the test told her it was due to the challenges she went through during her first delivery of the twins, having effect in her womb. They stayed for long without a baby.

Living without a baby in the house, the only option was to bring her twins to stay with them in her matrimonial home. The children were brought to their house and they went for a bicycle ride from their father that they didn’t know. To know what happens next, don’t forget to get a copy when the part 1 and 2 is released on the market next month. The movie starred mammoth actors like Apostle John Prah, Kwaku Manu, Alatiawi, Bridget Serwaah, Maame Yaa Konadu and others. Collins Ocran acted as Kofi Baboni. The movie was directed by Magic.

Asked what lessons can be left from the movie, he said Kofi Baboni is not a personal story, rather it’s the everyday life that most people face in our societies. It teaches one to respect, being careful of decision taking, respect for elders not only parents and more.

“The movie will be out next month ending, releasing part 1 and 2 then the 3 and 4 follow later. I shot the video a year ago but due to the quality work I want to bring out to the market, I decided to take my time and work on it.
